Billnäs Antiikkipäivät

Billnäsin Antiikkipäivät

Billnäs' annual Antiikkipäivät organized in July and lasting four days gathers about 10,000 visitors to the Ruukki area every year. The historical and rustic setting, the closeness to nature and the vendors of antiques, design and art packed under the same roof create a unique place in which to spend a summer day.

I was very excited when we were asked to be vendors at the event, and I couldn't wait to see and experience the event this time from the other side of the sales desk.

(Small part of our selection. In addition to wristwatches, there was a lot of different watch-related accessories available.)

Billnäs Antiikkipäivät is a familiar event to me from a visitor's point of view, and I have always enjoyed the atmosphere of the event, and also made good finds there. I was very excited when we were asked to be vendors at the event, and I couldn't wait to see and experience the event this time from the other side of the sales desk.

In Billnäs, there hasn't been a seller focused solely on watches for many years, and it was great to notice that there really is a demand for such a thing.

(We also had a wide selection of different women's vintage wristwatches.)

The rainy weather didn't scare people and there were enough visitors for each day. Especially the first two days were really busy and there were enough people at our table that it was crowded. In Billnäs, there hasn't been a seller focused solely on watches for many years, and it was great to notice that there really is a demand for such a thing. People are clearly interested in old watches and it was great to be able to talk about them, make deals and answer people's questions.

(Lots of different watch boxes and other interesting accessories.)

Overall, the event was a great experience and we will be there in the future as well. The next time will come soon, because on September 28-29, 2024, Billnäs October Fair will be held in the familiar scenery of Ruukki. See you there!
