Name of the personal register:

Nordic Watches Oy's online store customer register.

 

Purpose of personal data processing:

The purpose of processing personal data is to communicate with customers and process orders.

 

Data to be registered:

The following information or at least some of these are entered in the personal registration: name (or company name and B-ID and possibly also a contact person), address, telephone, e-mail address.

 

Cookies on the homepage:

When the user browses online shopping pages on the internet, cookies are used to collect anonymous data for Google's Analytics service. Information includes e.g. the user's entry and exit page, used pages on the online store, time of day, used search term to access the pages, type of browser used, location of the user's telecom operator (country and city). Information collected with the help of cookies is used to develop the site to be more customer-friendly and functional. This information can't be linked to an individual user or his personal information. Cookies can be disabled in the settings of the user's own browser.

 

Regular sources of information:

Important information for the personal register is regularly obtained from the customer himself when ordering products.

 

Retention of personal data:

Personal data is kept for the duration required by the customer relationship. Outdated data will be disabled. However, the Accounting Act provides for a longer period of time for data storage but they are not used for anything else during this time.

 

Delivery of personal data:

Information is not delivered to external actors for marketing purposes. Information from the personal register can only be released for functional reasons, for example when ordering from an online store to an online store operator and at the request of the authorities. In such cases, when data is delivered to a third party, the third party is responsible for data protection in its own systems as required by law. Information is not delivered outside the EU or EEA.

 

Registry protection:

A) Material in physical form is kept in a locked room at Nordic Watches' premises. B) Information in electronic form is stored in Nordic Wathces' information systems, which use both technical and programmatic means to ensure data security. Such means are e.g. Passwords and security software. The backup copies are kept in a locked place to which only the controller has access. In addition, the data is with the online store operator, who is responsible for data protection as required by law.

 

Right to inspect and correct data:

The registered person has the right to check what information about him is stored in the personal register. To implement the inspection request, the registered person must be in contact with the contact person. The registered person also has the right to demand the correction of incorrect information in the register. In the data correction request, the error to be corrected must be identified and the corrected data must be indicated. To implement the correction request, the registered person must contact the contact person. The repair request is free of charge.

 

Other right of the registrant:

The registered person has the right to prohibit the use of information about himself for the purposes defined by law and to delete information about him. Such a ban can be given free of charge at any time to the contact person mentioned above. However, the data can be stored for a period in accordance with the requirements of the law (e.g. legislation regulating accounting) but the data will not be used for anything else during that time.
