Helsinki Vintage Watches 2024

There are never too many events, and the annual Kellokirppis held in Espoo at the Finnish School of Watchmaking in March showed that there is really a lot of demand for watch events. Motivated by this, we decided to make our own contribution to Finnish watch culture and organize an event focused on vintage watches in May.

The common time allowed watch enthusiasts who packed into the capital region for the weekend to attend two completely different events.

Saturday 4 May 2024 was chosen as the date, and in the wonderful atmosphere of Helsinki's Suvilahti, we were able to use the stunning space of Magito Studio, which fit our event perfectly both in terms of size and location. On the same weekend, the Watch Show Finland, which is the largest watch event in the Nordic countries, was held in the nearby Kattilahalli. The common timing gave watch enthusiasts who packed into the capital region for the weekend the opportunity to attend two completely different events. Free entrance also allowed visitors a free and flexible visit to our event for five hours from ten in the morning until three o'clock.

In addition to us, there were watch enthusiasts, collectors and watchmakers selling their treasures.

In addition to us, there were watch enthusiasts, collectors and watchmakers selling their treasures. Aittokoski Watches was there to present their watch models and it was great to see their personal watches in nature. The tables were full of one another's finest watches, and from the beginning to the end of the event, there was a steady flow of eager visitors in the premises, which was backed by cheerful conversations. Deals were made until the last minute, and when the event ended, the sellers left the place with their burdens considerably lighter.

Visitors make an event and, conservatively estimated, there were about 200 of them during the day. Quite a good performance for the first event, even though we started a little too late in terms of organization. Encouraged by the excellent feedback, we will definitely organize the event also in the future.

It's worth following our page and other social media platforms so you'll be among the first to know when the next event is planned. See you again!
