Last year we were busy attending various events and fairs. After a few months brake, March brought back a few interesting events.
One of the highlights of the year, the already traditional Watchmaker's School's Kellokirppis, was held on March 15th at the Finnish School of Watchmaking in Espoo from 11 am to 2 pm. The familiar premises were once again filled with enthusiastic and cheerful sellers and visitors. Especially in the first few hours, the premises were, as usual, packed to the brim and space was limited. However, this did not dampen the atmosphere, and it was great to be able to see other enthusiasts and do business face to face.

On March 22-23, Tammitori, best known for organizing the super popular Billnäs Antique Days, organized a two-day antique fair in Wanha Satama in Helsinki. This time, the fair wanted a larger selection of watches, and we were happy to help the organizers find suitable sellers. Kellohuone Pietilä, KultaViljaset and Kelloseppien Työhuone enthusiastically joined the event. There was plenty of selection, from wristwatches, pocket watches, wall clocks to watch boxes, signs, bracelets and all sorts of other interesting watch related items. Other sellers had also rummaged through their cabinets at home and many tables contained all sorts of interesting items for those interested in watches. This was well received by the visitors and many might even have been surprised by how popular watches are today.
